I've been sewing since I was a girl, and for the last twenty-five years I've been making the kind of pieces I wanted and couldn't find.
I pick the fabrics one at a time, usually because something about a print made me stop and look twice. That's why you'll find a fox print next to a patchwork floral. I don't make things in runs of fifty.
